FSC Certification
GZ Digital Media is a company which systematically and constantly endeavours to ensure that its activities have the greatest consideration for the environment, even on a global scale.
The latest proof of this is the recent acquisition of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certificate. We are delighted that GZ products may now bear the logo shown below and we can offer our customers products which are produced with full regard to socially and ecologically responsible forest management.
About the FSC:
According to the OSN Food and Agriculture Organisation half of all the forests of the world have already been altered, destroyed or converted to other forms of land use. The majority of forests, including the remaining virgin forests, now suffer from illegal exploitation. The FSC was established in reaction to these concerns about global deforestation.
Forest management in accordance with the internationally recognised standards of the FSC provides ecological services for local and global communities, including clean air and water, and contributes to reducing the impact of climate change. The FSC directly or indirectly addresses issues such as illegal logging, deforestation and global warming and has a positive influence on economic development and environmental protection.
